  • Reiki is a gentle yet powerful practice that channels healing energy to help alleviate conditions like anxiety, depression, stress, and physical pain. Through the careful placement of hands, healing energy is passed into you, so the body’s natural healing processes are activated, bringing balance and harmony. It is a method that not only addresses physical ailments but also promotes emotional and mental well-being.

  • My Reiki room has a spa like feel, with soft music playing in the background. First, we'll sit down together and discuss your goal(s) for your session(s). Next, you'll take off your shoes and get onto the padded table, lying on your back. Once you're comfortable on the table, you'll just relax into the treatment. I'll connect with the healing energy and begin by lightly touching or hovering my hands over and around your head and shoulders in various places. Once finished there, I’ll give treatment to your torso. To finish I will go to your feet for some soothing touches at your ankles, arches, and toes for grounding. Afterwards, we'll sit together to discuss how you feel, and I'll go over the aftercare instructions.

  • Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT, is a remarkable tool for releasing limiting beliefs, emotional trauma, and physical pain. By tapping on specific meridian points while giving focused thought to uncomfortable thoughts and feelings, individuals can break free from patterns that have held them back. EFT is a profound way to address deep-seated issues and promote healing on multiple levels.

  • My room has a spa like feel, with soft music playing in the background. We'll begin by establishing your goals for your sessions. Then together we’ll select which issue you’d like to tackle first. As you feel comfortable, we’ll discuss how the issue makes you feel emotionally, mentally, and physically and how it may be limiting your life. Next, we’ll proceed with a round of tapping, addressing what was discussed. You will follow my lead on where to tap as you repeat what I am saying. At the end of each round of tapping we’ll reassess and then proceed forward with another round until it is time to stop. As the session ends, I’ll make sure you feel comfortable with our stopping place. Then we’ll talk about any helpful strategies you may use at home to continue your healing.

  • Sound healing is the application of sound waves at different frequencies, applied to or around a person’s body, for attuning, aligning, releasing, calming and overall healing. Sound healing works by applying the harmonic frequencies that resonate with different parts of the body, bringing them back into balance. The sound waves can be applied through a multitude of different instruments and tools that create varying high and low frequency sound waves. When the sound waves intercept with a person’s energy fields, chakras or body organs, the body has the capacity to match that tone and attune itself to its original state of wellness and optimum functionality. Sound Healing through vibration has the power to regulate our nervous system and calm our minds. It has the ability to reduce pain, lower stress & anxiety and heal our physical body at the cellular level.

Depending upon the session/instrument you choose, I may play the sound healing instrument at your ears, around or even on your body. Afterwards, we'll sit together to discuss how you feel, and I'll go over the aftercare instructions.

  • You may feel tired, emotional, energized, or not feel any different. All of these reactions are perfectly normal. Some people may need to release pent up emotions, and some may feel a lessening of physical pain while others may feel wonderfully energized by the new flow of energy. At times you may feel uncomfortable either physically or emotionally after a session as your body is trying to release and break free from toxins, limiting beliefs, or behavior patterns that no longer serve you. Each session will be different as your body works to heal itself mentally, physically, and emotionally, so don’t be surprised if each session feels different. Make sure you are honest about how you are feeling after the session, so I know best how to guide you. Remember that for most it will take multiple sessions for the body to heal itself.

  • While one session is beneficial and will leave you relaxed, it is usually not enough to help you thoroughly reach your goal. Best practice for Reiki indicates a series of three sessions and for EFT a series of four sessions, after which we assess your desired goal. Some people choose to complete their first three sessions weekly or even within one week while others choose to space them out. It really depends on how serious the condition and your goals. For example, for a painful condition you may wish to have more than one session a week; however, if you just need some stress relief then you may wish to space them 2 to 3 weeks apart when needed. You know your time and resources best, but I will gladly discuss this with you after your appointment so you can make the best decision possible for yourself.

  • While energy and sound healing are deemed as completely safe and can complement medical or psychological care, it is always best for you to confer with your medical or mental health care practitioner before starting any treatments.
